Clarify your road map to optimising production of oil and gas via proper well placement, production levels, and enhanced oil recovery techniques on Day 2
Innovations, Techniques and Technologies for a Commercially Viable, Cost-Efficient and Effective Upstream Oil & Gas Production
“Oil wells change the way they give oil as time goes on. A once strong flowing well may not be what is used to be. Yet, despite that it is clear that there is still a lot of oil to get pumped out of any particular well. When this is what happens then oil production optimization is necessary. “
Several Southeast Asian oil & gas players’ declining oil reserves and production have been underscored by Indonesia’s quitting OPEC, Malaysia’s aggressive exploration and development overseas and Brunei’s capping of oil production deliberately to extend life of the fields and to improve recovery rates.
For most current projects, oil recovery is generally lower than expected due to some combination of natural and man-made factors. As a result, about 1/3 to 1/2 of the original oil in place remains left in the reservoir when it reaches its economic limit abandonment. How do you make recovery from such projects substantially enhanced without much effort and expense?
Many techniques and technologies have been developed and invented to enhance recovery. However, the benefits from these technologies may still fall far short of expectations.
Many oil and gas are not satisfied with their current production levels and would like to improve on some specific solutions they’ve implemented.

Reservoir Engineering
Production Optimisation Week Asia (25 – 29 July 2011, Kuala Lumpur) is your way forward, providing you with a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, technical platform, highlighting the breadth and depth of information you need to make your mature, marginal, deepwater and other reservoirs more technically and commercially viable to produce and increase your production effectiveness and efficiency, combining reservoir, production and completions engineering.
Manage the interface between the reservoir and the well, including perforations, sand control, downhole flow control, and downhole monitoring equipment; evaluate artificial lift methods; and also select surface equipment that separates the produced fluids (oil, natural gas, and water). on Day 3
