Workday Strengthens Workforce Planning Solutions in Southeast Asia
Workday named Jess O’Reilly its General Manager for ASEAN in April 2025. Based in Singapore, she leads strategic expansion efforts for the company’s AI-driven workforce planning solutions amid growing demand for reskilling and talent forecasting tools in Southeast Asia.
Workday is seeing accelerated adoption of its AI- and machine learning–powered workforce planning solutions in Southeast Asia. Enterprises in the region are increasingly using the platform to improve talent allocation, anticipate skills gaps, and support strategic reskilling initiatives amid ongoing workforce transformation.
These capabilities are becoming more relevant as AI adoption reshapes labor markets across Asia. A Workday-commissioned study conducted by McCrindle found that successful HR leaders are proactive, tech-enabled, and focused on long-term workforce strategy. Workday’s tools allow organizations to analyze workforce trends, plan for future roles, and support employee development while aligning with regional data governance standards.
Workday also announced plans for a new data center in India to address growing demand for local data residency. The company continues to position its Cloud HCM platform as a foundation for future-ready HR practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
These themes will be central to the discussions at HR Technology Congress Asia 2025 – strategically co-located as part of AI Week Asia 2025 – where Workday will share how predictive analytics and strategic planning are being applied in live enterprise environments across the region.
